Pause for a moment. Notice the physical weight of your body resting exactly where you are.
Before we explore the subtle mechanics of your state, we must first honour the physical. Deep energetic transmutation requires a stable foundation. You cannot safely navigate the abstract until you are entirely, comfortably anchored in the room.
There is nothing to force here. I invite you to take a slow, deliberate breath, and read through these simple anchors before stepping into the space.
1. The Internal Check-In
Honouring your capacity today.
You might notice that your energy fluctuates from day to day. That is perfectly natural. The work we do here can be profound, and it requires your nervous system to have the capacity to hold it.
I invite you to take one slow, nasal breath. Ask yourself: Do I feel resourced enough to dive deep today?
Choosing to rest, to step back, or to simply observe instead of actively participating is never a step backward. It is an act of deep sovereign mastery. You are the architect of your own experience, and you are always allowed to simply be.
2. The Physical Perimeter
Securing your space.
Your physical environment is your first layer of safety. Before beginning any protocol, it can be deeply supportive to ensure you are in a quiet, undisturbed space.
- The Terrestrial Tether: Notice the undeniable weight of your body against the chair or the floor. Allow gravity to take the excess electricity. This is your permanent anchor; the earth is always rising up to hold you.
- The Breath as a Compass: Throughout these practices, your breath is your tether to the present. If you ever feel your awareness drifting too far into a story, you don’t have to fight it. Simply close your mouth and let the body return to a slow, rhythmic nasal breath.
- The Sovereign Boundary: For deeper sessions, you might find it comforting to close the door, turn off the notifications, and grant yourself absolute permission to be unavailable to the world for a little while.
3. The Return Protocol
Applying the brakes.
You are in complete control of your own depth. If at any point the friction feels too heavy, or your system simply says ‘no’, you have full permission to hit the brakes. You do not have to push through.
If you ever wish to return to the surface quickly, simply run this sequence:
- Break the gaze. Close your eyes firmly for a second, then open them and find a very mundane, physical object in the room.
- Name the terrestrial. Mentally note that object’s colour, its texture, and its weight.
- Breathe out the excess. Exhale slowly, imagining any remaining charge draining down through the soles of your feet, safely into the floor.
Resistance is not a failure; it is just physical information. If you need to stop, simply stop. Settle entirely, and recognise that you are perfectly safe exactly where you are.
